Myanmar is a unique charter destination that has hardly been touched by humans. It offers a thriving natural paradise with thick tropical rainforests, rocky headlands, sandy beaches, mangrove swamps, extensive coral reefs and a flourishing plethora of living creatures. Nature in her purest form can be found in the Mergui Archipelago.

Over eight hundred tropical islands covering an area of over ten thousand square miles form the archipelago which was closed off to the outside world for over fifty years until 1997 when foreign visitors were admitted. The local people are the Moken, sometimes known as Sea Gypsies, a sea-dwelling people who follow a traditional way of life, doing things such as fishing and building boats in a similar way to how their ancestors have lived for centuries.

The archipelago`s virtual isolation from mankind and our often devastating effects has meant that while it is a breath-taking place to visit it is only superficially charted so sailing in the area is currently limited to yachts crewed by people who know the area.
