The Newport Charter Yacht Show is coming up soon, June 22-25, 2015, in Newport, Rhode Island and we are excited to see all wonderful yachts that are available for charter this summer in New England. This is a great industry only show where we get a chance to see the yachts, meet the crews and see what they do while on charter so we can present them to our client with the utmost confidence. We are looking forward to presenting our clients with the best crewed motor yacht charter for the summer!
Last week was the largest edition of the Monaco Yacht Show yet, and the Boatbookings team examined some of the finest and largest yachts available for your yacht charter. Our highlight of the show was M/Y NERO, a stunning 90m Corsair Yacht completed in 2008.
This year’s Electric & hybrid Marine World Expo saw the launch of the SWATH Electra Glide Limousine Tender. This revolutionary vessel is the world’s first Carbon Neutral Solar Hybrid SuperYacht Tender that combines both the environmental benefits of solar electric sustainability with the no sea sickness comfort of an anti-roll SWATH vessel.
This boat, built by Nedship, is not short on power and is powered by twin 300hp Regen Electric outboards the Tender’s maximum speed a very impressive 45 knots. Her 20kw a day solar panels produce up to 7Mws annually, which at a speed of 16 knots is enough energy to travel more than 1,000 carbon neutral nautical miles, pretty impressive!
This tender is not just for getting from A to B. This luxurious vessel features a galley and and bar which means she is perfect for day expeditions and for exploring remote and hard to reach beaches and coves on your luxury yacht charter. Other mod-cons include hot and cold air conditioning, surround sound entertainment, two flat screen TVs and opening gull wing windows on each side of the craft.

This year’s Singapore Yacht Show is set to be the biggest ever with several top Super Yachts confirmed to be on show as more and more of them are choosing to charter in South East Asia. At 67m VERTIGO is one of the largest and most imposing Super Yachts in the world. EXUMA
EXUMA is a futuristic Super Yacht and has been designed for discovery and exploration with a shallow hull, her extensive list of water toys even includes an amphibious jeep! EXUMA is currently on a world tour and will be featuring at this year’s show before cruising Indonesia, the Seychelles and Tanzania in the coming months.
