Super Yacht of the Week: BURKUT

This week we’re paying a well-deserved homage to good old-fashioned attention to detail, and how sticking to classic nautical style on a yacht can be so very effective. BURKUT is a beautiful 54 metre yacht built in 2009 by Italian shipyard Baglietto who are well known for their sporty influence; here though they have mixed their clean fluid lines with a spacious tri-deck design for a world-class super yacht design. Both her interior and exterior have been designed with clean nautical living in mind, but each room has a touch of individuality whether it be a splash of colour, custom artwork or key furniture piece.

Outside there’s everything you’d expect from world-class yacht design, with extensive lounging areas, social sunbathing areas, dining and a designated wellness centre on the sun deck. The wellness centres offers state-of-the-art gym equipment, spa, steam room and sauna. Large sliding doors lead from the wellness centre onto the sun deck where loungers and love-seats await following your relaxing treatments or workout. For the more active guests there are two top of the range jet skis on board by Sea Doo, and for the image conscious her 7-metre custom tender guarantees you a dry trip to land. Modern nautical style is key outside with clean blue, white and stripes throughout offering cool and welcoming spaces.

The master suite is the pièce de résistance with its large living space and folding private balcony for when you’re looking for a feeling of true isolation and tranquility on the water. Neutral tones throughout create a relaxing cabin, whilst uses of luxurious textures of silk and marble show that no expense has been spared on creating the perfect living environment. The 4 further cabins offer similarly luxurious features, with splashes of colour in each to give every cabin an identity of its own and add a sense of fun.
