Super Yacht of the Week: GLORIA TERESA

With the Holiday season well and truly upon us and Christmas fast approaching the Boatbookings team are looking back on what has been a truly fantastic year of yachting, both in charter and the mind-blowing developments and new levels of incredible set by some awe-inspiring creations. For the next two weeks, we’ll be highlighting a couple of our favourite luxury super yachts that have held a special place in our hearts following an unforgettable experience onboard. This week’s super yacht of the week is the newly re-fitted, light and bright IZAR creation: GLORIA TERESA.

The Spanish shipyard launched GLORIA TERESA in 2005, with a stunning exterior design which quite simply boasts her volumes and a timeless modernity that manages to incorporate the elegant presence of a much larger yacht. Following a recent re-fit, interior designer Reymond Langton has successfully made use of her floor to ceiling windows to create a light and well-balanced space with contrasting furniture and splashes of energising colour throughout.

Her 5 cabin layout consisting of an opulent master suite, 2 further doubles and 2 twins is perfect for family vacations. With exterior spaces offering both comfort and variety no matter what your taste, GLORIA TERESA offers everything you need to relax and unwind in the Mediterranean.

Cordelia and Charles from our team in the South of France were lucky enough to sample the chef’s creative delights at ECPY earlier this year, and GLORIA TERESA has been held in high regard ever since. A relaxed feel on board makes you feel instantly at home, along with the warm chief stewardess who is truly delighted to be of assistance and has a passion for the yacht which is new to the charter market this year. Lunch was a masterclass in molecular dining, small features on every plate that burst with masses of flavour. The crab starter stood out for both Cordelia and Charles with its grapefruit caviar that was a tasty burst of surprise on an already fantastic plate of food.

GLORIA TERESA is a 42 metre yacht offering the level of service and space you’d see on a yacht considerably larger. We can’t recommend her enough for your 2015 summer vacation whether it be on the French Riviera or over in Croatia where she chartered this year.
